What is orthogonal quality? In Fluent check the quality. 

The min orthogonal quality should be above 0.1 to proceed to solver. If it is less than 0.1 then please improve the mesh. 
 
If mesh orthogonal quality is bad, it might have given bad residuals within 100 -200 iterations. I assume you are running steady state. Please check.Â
