Seems the conditions like the key slot makes the geometry not support the cylindrical support to be scoped to the respective geometry. You might try removing the key slot and then scope the cylindrical support.
Even if cylindrical support was used, radial and tangential motions would be fixed allowing the motion along axial direction. You can replicate the same by creating a local cylindrical coordinate system and adding displacements scoping to the coordinate system with the free motion scoped to respective axis keeping other axes constrained.
