We've already commented regarding using Win8.x - we don't have a build for that and given it's near retirement are unlikely to do so.
If you intend to play with the dll's then this is at your own risk: you're probably more likely to break something on the OS than get Ansys working. That's for you to decide and fix if it goes wrong; if the community has any bright ideas.
