Hello,I am currently working on a complex coil geometry in a Magnetostatic Simulation. The geometry with the desired current directions is depicted in the image. In the circle segments, the current shall follow the geometry.nMy question now is how to implement the different current directions (one solid) in the simulation.nI appreciate your help.Kind regards, H. It's not possible to accurately specify current density for an arbitrary shape like the one shown. Instead, a current conduction analysis should be done. The coil will need to be split somewhere so that a ground (zero voltage) and the current can be specified at the cut ends. After the current conduction analysis, ldread can be used to read the current density into the magnetic analysis which will have the same mesh plus air elements.
