Ansys 2021 R1 -> Workbench -> Engineering Data:nI have created a few new materials, but when I right-click on the materials, Add Material to Project and Add to Favorites are both disabled.nI would like to add the new materials to my Fluent project, but I cannot seem to figure this one out.nDoes anyone know the reason for this? Or how to enable these two options?nThanks for your helpnNisimnnn

We don't use the Engineering Data module in Fluent. Look in Materials in Fluent and you'll find some of what you're after. There are links for Granta MDS via a hardwired library if you have the right licences. n

Thanks Rob,nThe materials I need are not given in the fluent database (i.e. acrylic, ultra saturated brine and sodium chloride).nI am sure they are available through Granata, but I do not have the license.nThanks for your help!n

Granta doesn't have (m)any fluid properties at present as historically they've focused on solids. Their database (MDS) for Fluent is intended for use with the built in FSI tools. If you don't see what you want in Fluent you'll need to provide the data, just modify existing materials and overwrite or not depending on whether you want to keep what you're changing. n
