SubscribernOne solid element through the thickness is not sufficient.nAdd a Mesh Method of Sweep to the body. Select the top face as the source face. Set the number of elements for the sweep to 4. That will create 4 elements through the thickness. Then try to solve.nA better method is to go to Geometry and use a surface instead of a solid. The surface can be assigned the thickness. Then a single shell element will capture the stiffness properly.nViewing 1 reply thread- The topic ‘I have a problem with this message ‘An unknown error occurred during solution.
