SubscriberHello!nnI am running a 1way FSI model. I have defined wall motion via a UDF. It seems dynamic mesh is working without problem and remeshing in every time step. But when I run the model Fluent crashes with ?Abnormal Exit!?. It is happening every time that I run the model in a different time step (after 1283, 1340 , 710 time steps) after about 10 hours. I have tried the below solutions but none of them worked.n- Running Fluent stand alonen- Running with 2 parallel processors instead of 16n- Disconnecting the Computer form internet and running the model offlinen- Upgrading to Ansys 2021 R1nnI have written a transcript for each run. Below is the transcript written before Fluent crashes. Please let me know what can be the reason for such an error?.Flow time = 0.0518716900000008s, time step = 1283n7346 more time stepsnnUpdating solution at time level N...n done.nnUpdating mesh at time level N... nSF length_scale = 9.77327e-04nSF num nodes in dir = 6nSF num nodes in dir = 4nSF num nodes in dir = 9nSF all nodes = 270n>> Dividing domain into 15 partitions using Metis.n Time = 0.22 seconds.n Done.nn>> 15 Stored Partitions:n ----------------------------------------------------------------------n Collective Partition Statistics: Minimum Maximum Total n ----------------------------------------------------------------------n Cell count 63624 64254 961092 n Mean cell count deviation -0.7% 0.3% n Partition boundary cell count 1370 4526 48964 n Partition boundary cell count ratio 2.1% 7.1% 5.1% nn Face count 130311 132603 1947956 n Mean face count deviation -1.0% 0.7% n Partition boundary face count 1525 5021 26965 n Partition boundary face count ratio 1.2% 3.8% 1.4% nn Cell weights 6e+05 6e+05 1e+07 n Mean cell weight deviation -0.7% 0.3% nn Partition neighbor count 2 8 n ----------------------------------------------------------------------n Partition Method Metis n Stored Partition Count 15 nDone.nn Smoothing partition boundaries...nSF length_scale = 9.77327e-04nSF num nodes in dir = 6nSF num nodes in dir = 4nSF num nodes in dir = 9nSF all nodes = 1000UTLOOPnOUTLOOP nOUTLOOP nOUTLOOP nOUTLOOP nOUTLOOP nOUTLOOP nOUTLOOP nOUTLOOP nOUTLOOP nOUTLOOP nOUTLOOP nOUTLOOP nOUTLOOP===============Message from the Cortex Process================================nnFatal error in one of the compute processes.nn==============================================================================n -

Ansys EmployeeIt would be good to get the Fluent only case running before moving to the 1-way FSI, which I think is what you're doing. Can you add some screenshots of your setup so that we can get a better idea of the simulation? Also include more information about the UDF.
