SubscriberHi, allnI am doing a transient simulation in ANSYS CFX. My model is a transonic turbine linear cascade. When I do the unsteady simulation in the positive incidence angle(10deg), the solver is usually to be overflow. But in the negative incidence angle(-10deg), I can get unsteady results. All the settings between these two cases are the same with the same mesh. So I don't know the reason for this phenomenon. Is there anybody who can help me? thanks!n -

Ansys EmployeeHi Yangyee,nIt's really important to look at the flow solution before the solver diverges in order to better understand why the solver is diverging. When the solver fails, typically there isn't much in the output file to identify the issue. I would create a backup or stop the solver an iteration or two before the solver diverges and look at the results in CFD-Post. I would also suggest to run smaller positive incidence values to see what the behavior is.n
