SubscriberWhy motor torque is falling by ~3Nm by simulating only one pole of motor compared to full motor?
I have also appropriately given boundary condition. Please help.

Ansys EmployeeHello Bobby11,n It is an interesting question and we may check everything in both model. Here is some information. nGeometry. Could you check the if the one pole geometry can present the full geometry? In the one pole model, do you use Master/Slave or Independent/Dependent, and Bs = - Bm , Bdep = -BinpnMaterial. Please use the same materials and magnet directionnMeshing. Please use the same meshing and improve the meshing to achieve the accurate results.nCheck the length and skew option in Design setting.nCheck the excitation and Setup's setting.n The results should be same if the one pole model can present the full geometry. Thanks.nnViewing 3 reply threads- The topic ‘Error in motor torque computation with 1Pole’ is closed to new replies.
