SubscriberHello dear
I struck into a problem of finding characteristic dimensions of elements. I designed the body with variable elements by using Bias edges.

Ansys Employee,nDo you need the characteristic length for calculating time step? If so you could use the minimum length, this would ensure that the stability criteria is ensured for all elements.nRegards,nIshan.nFebruary 24, 2021 at 4:43 amdeepmech.maurya
