Limiting Variables to integer values in Sequential Nonlinear Programming (Gradient) Optimization

Hello,I am attempting to tune an antenna for resonance, which involves optimizing the capacitance in parallel with the antenna (rlc_p_c). I have set up a Sequential Nonlinear Programming (Gradient) Optimization, which works fine, however I would like to put a limiting constraint on the rlc_p_c so that values below a step-size of 1pF are not tested. Otherwise, the SNP continues to choose higher and higher precision values of capacitance that aren't realizable in the real world.I realize I can do this with a parametric analysis, but is there a way to limit the precision of a variable of an Optimization Analysis?.Best,nGregn

,nYou can try using the Setup Optimization -- Variables -- Linear Constraint feature to set the constraints for any particular variable under optimization. You can refer to the help document for more details. See the pic below to get an idea of how to access this.nHope this addresses your concern!nnBest,n
