  Hi. It says Review any .err or .log files in :C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\ANSYS Student and when I open the detailed progress log it says Problems were encountered running the licensing configuration and Error creating shortcut: Product is not installed under unified build location or the content under commonfiles/globalsettings/relinfo.xml is empty, Ansys start menu Shortcut append revision cannot be determined.nAlso SC Workbench PlugIn ..... Not ConfigurednI've downloaded and deleted Ansys Student multiple times now with the last attempt with real-time scanning for viruses in folders turned off and still no luck. Any insight into the matter would be greatly appreciated.nAlexandernn

  Hi, I'm not sure what files are the prerequisites in prereq and I thought I had already installed them when I did the main installation? Also, I can't find ProductConfig.exe in v211. Do you think this is part of the problem?.Cheersn

  Array there should be a ProductConfig.exe. I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling. Make sure you are installing using Right-click -> Run as administrator. Another problem that may be happening is that you may not be able to edit the registry, that can cause the errors in the install. Can you share the C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\ANSYS Student\v211\CADConfigLogs\Latest\CADConfigurationMgr.log file? n
