      Hi

Thanks @nchode for your answer regarding export the full model from Motor-CAD into Ansys 2020R1. When I open the .vbs file, I got the following error:

[error] Maxwell2d solver, process solver2d error: Internal Solver Error: 'Geometry does not comply with pure rotation motion! (ErrAngle = 2.5007 degree)'. Please contact ANSYS technical support. (1:12:19 PM Feb 03, 2021)

[error] Simulation completed with execution error on server: Local Machine. (1:12:20 PM Feb 03, 2021)

[error] Script macro error: Simulation for Concordia_IPM_Feb3_ANSYSEM_2D : Motor-CAD Concordia_IPM_Feb3 has failed with execution error. (1:12:21 PM Feb 03, 2021)

Based on other's questions I changed the version of Ansys to 2019R2, but the error is the same. Could you please help me to solve this?

      Thanks in advance

      .

      Hi Shiva2810 ,

Increase the fineness (maybe to 7 points) in the initial mesh settings in Maxwell and check if it works.

Hi I have the same error when exporting from MotorCAD and it is really is annoying, can help me

      I have tested Ansys 2021R1, 2020R2, 2019R3

all gave errors related to mesh I guess

[error] Maxwell2d solver, process solver2d error: Internal Solver Error: 'Geometry does not comply with pure rotation motion! (ErrAngle = 2.5007 degree)'. Please contact ANSYS technical support. (12:04:08 PM Nov 14, 2021)

      Hi,

Mesh > initial mesh settings > use slider> change the resolution by the slider and run the simulation to see if it works, it may take a couple of tries, but it works!
