Ansys fluent does not start

  Hi, I'm new to Ansys and I've installed Ansys 2020 R2 Academic version.
  
  I'm following the CornellX ENGR2000X's CFD example and got stucked since Ansys Fluent Setup does not start.
  I got no error messages, no warnings, nothing...
  
  I tried to re-install, but it didn't work.
  
  I've tried to initialize it by cmd using:
  "D:Program FilesANSYS IncANSYS Studentv202fluent tbinwin64fluent.exe" ^-r20.2.0 3d -g -meshing
  
  and I got the following

  Yeah Im getting the same problem. Done all the geometry and made the mesh, dragged over the fluent tab and when I go to launch the fluent it comes up with a licensing problemnAny fixes found?nFIXED!!!!!!!nMy fix was simply changing it from six processors (Happens when you right click and edit on the fluent tab) and changing it to 4 processors. Dont know why it only allows 4 but this made it start up properly so give that a go! Hope it works!n

  That means you're running the solution on 4 cpu rather than just one. Given the model size limits and that Student is for learning the tool you don't really need more. Commercial Fluent jobs without the node/cell count limit are routinely run on hundreds of cores, and KAUST used 200k or so for a project. n
