SubscriberI have simulated a linear induction motor in eddy current and transient modes. I need to make a circuit out of the motor model so that I can define an AC voltage source for the windings so that I do not have to define current through windings (current should be modelled from voltage and material impedance).nI also need to be able to manipulate resistance of the motor windings.nIs all of this even possible? If yes, how do I achieve it?n -

Forum ModeratorHi nPlease refer to the external circuit help section in Maxwell help to understand how to define external circuit to motor windings, and export circuit netlist back to Maxwelln
n
nyou can define the winding excitation as external and define an external circuit n
Make sure the name you have for winding is the same in both Maxwell and external circuit definition nYes, you can manipulate the resistance of the motor windings by adding a resistor in each phase winding of the external circuit.nnRegardsnNavyan
