How to increase the mesh size gradually in the flow direction?nThanksn

Please have a look at growth rate option in sizing. If you are doing fluids simulation, growth rate of 1.2 is sufficient. nPlease also have a look at BOI, face sizing etc. nPlease go through help manual for more details nRegards,nKeyurnHow to access Ansys Online Help DocumentnHow to show full resolution imagenGuidelines on the Student CommunitynHow to use Google to search within Ansys Student Communityn

Hello Keyur! Thanks for the info. I'm using slices to create multiple bodies for meshing with different elements size in the flow direction and body sizing for these. I've been using the growth rate close to 1.2. But, I don't see any significant variation in those sliced bodies. All the elements in these sliced bodies are of the same size. nIs there anything better than the body sizing for defining the gradual growth of the cells in the flow direction?n

Please check global sizing. Make sure you have defined min and max values correctly. nAlso when you say slice, make sure it has sufficient space to increase element size. nRegards,nKeyurnHow to access Ansys Online Help DocumentnHow to show full resolution imagenGuidelines on the Student CommunitynHow to use Google to search within Ansys Student Communityn
