SubscriberIs there a way to display the pressure throughout a volume for a series of points? When I export a vector result for velocity it displays the x, y and z position and the velocities for their respective directions. I'm trying to get that, but for a pressure value instead of velocities at each coordinate. I've tried using a vector result of pressure force, but the output is undefined. Any help would be greatly appreciated. n -

I tried this, but my shape has multiple flows, which are orthogonal to each other. There isn't just a single gradient from one end to the other that can be approximated by a line. nn

Subscriberpressure is not a vector quantity, so you will not be able to find it in vectors. But you can extract the values of pressure at any point, line or surface the same way you do for velocity. The difference is that you will get it from contours instead of vectors.n -

Is there a way to write a for loop and make discovery aim create and sample contours on a plane a specific number of times? I thought the streamlines would work, but it didn't generate a 3D array with fixed spacing. Is this something that requires a different software from Ansys?n -

Ansys EmployeeYou can try post processing tools like EnSight or running the whole in Fluent and post processing. I guess that will be better then trying to do that in AIMn -

Are either of those free with a student license?n -
