Mesh Convergence

      Dear Support Engineers:

I have two questions as listed below. If anyone could help, that will be highly appreciated.

      a) I am trying to learn Mesh Convergence using ANSYS Workbench. I am getting a warning as showing below. May I know why I am getting this warning? Or, what should I do to remove this warning?

Matrix Coefficient Ratio: This is a warning message and generally not a concern.nMost common but not all reasons: Some elements have severe differences in stiffness from other elements. For example, the presence of large stiffness values and low stiffness values in the matrix which can lead to ill-conditioning and may cause issues for the solver. This could happen due to very dissimilar materials being present in the model, or it could be due to very small elements being next to very large elements.nnMaximum Refinement Loops: This is how many times the mesher will refine before stopping. nThink of it this way: One of 2 parameters must stop the mesh refinement looping otherwise it will continue forever. nIt will stop by either hitting the Maximum Refinement Loops, or the % change value.Refinement depth: How aggressive the mesh refinement is. 1 is less aggressive, 2 is normal, 3 is more aggressive. n
