SubscriberHey everyone, I am doing a model of a Wheel and, in order to decrease the number of elements, I have applied a cyclic symmetry, but It appears to modify the result. I lack to comprehend why the evolution of the stress differs from one to another, it looks like the simplified version’s rim is stiffer, and does not deform at all. Could somebody explain me why the result differs?

Forum ModeratornnThe load (Remote force) does not look to be cyclic and symmetrical. You can use refer following link for applying a non-cyclic load:nnnRegards,nAshish KhemkanViewing 2 reply threads- The topic ‘Cyclic symmetry’ is closed to new replies.
