SubscriberHi there,nFirst Issue: I am trying to simulate a motor with negative load torque but it is showing error like Time decomposition method does not work with mechanical Transient. Contact ansys support for further enquiry.nSecond issue: while considering mechanical transient if i click calculate option i am getting this Body 'shaft' is not centered on the axis of rotation.nCan u help me with these two problems? As i have tried so many things.n -

Ansys EmployeeHi,nFor the first question, please refer to Maxwell Help > Specifying Solution Settings > Setting Analysis Parameters for Transient Solutions > Time Decomposition Method for Maxwell Transient Designs. Scroll down to Limitations to using TDM, then 2nd bullet point.nSecond question, the problem might be related to geometric modeling. Unfortunately we are not able to check the geometry model for you through learning forum, could you double check your geometry positions? Another suggest is that you can try different geometry creation methods (creating in Maxwell vs. importing). If the geometry has to be imported, you could try creating the geometry in different software and save in different formats for importing. n
