SubscriberDear folksnnI created a small static problem in Ansys Mechanical. My problem contains only bonded contacts. I checked the Large Deflection option in Analysis Settings is set to Off.nHowever, when I solve the model, the analysis takes too long time and Solution>Solution Information>Solution Output>Force Convergence shows curves that indicates that the analysis is non-linear.nnSo my questions are:n1) How to determine whether Ansys will solve the problem linearly or non-linearly befor beginning the analysis?n2) How to recognize the reason for Ansys selecting non-linear analysis?n3) How to enforce Ansys to perform linear analysis?.Thanks and regardsn -
