      Hello Everybody

How can i apply on a glass slab a natural convection from top and forced convection from bottom ?

Hello,nYou will need to create an enclosure surrounding the glass surface at the top. All the boundary surfaces will be walls (4 on the sides and 1 on the top). You will need to activate gravity here. nOn the bottom part, you will need to have another enclosure. This time, there will be an inlet and outlet. You will apply the appropriate boundary conditions here (velocity inlet and pressure outlet). nPlease assign the material properties appropriately in these domains. nI hope this helps.nThank you.nKarthikn

Thank you for your reply sirnexcuse me do you mean this ?nnand if yes how can I put boundary condition on the glass down surface ?n

Hello,nThere will be no boundary condition on the glass down surface. Fluent will automatically apply the necessary condition here (Temp of the fluid = temp of fluid, and conduction flux in the glass = conduction flux in the air at the boundary).nThanks.nKarthikn
