When we define a near field sphere around the simulated structure which was simulated in FEBI box. We can plot " NearPoyntingTotal" quantity on the near-field sphere. But why cannot we plot the 'real' and 'imaginary' parts of the "NearPoyntingTotal"? Real part of the "NearPoyntingTotal" is needed to calculate the outward power flow from the sphere and I want to evaluate that.
Also, can you please tell that how the "NearPoyntingPhi" and "NearPoyntingTheta" related to "NearPoyntingTotal" ? Because "NearPoyntingPhi" and ""NearPoyntingTheta" can be exported in real and imaginary components separately. I am attaching some values from actual simulation and I cannot understand that how NearPoyntingPhi and NearPoyntingTheta can be used to calculate NearPoyntingTotal ?

Hence you will not be able to get the real and imaginary parts where as the NearPoyntingPhi and NearPoyntingTheta can be expressed in real and imaginary parts.nNearPoyntingTotal eqauls to square root of sums of squares of rho, phi and theta components of NearPoynting quantity.nAll the very best.nBest Regards,nViewing 2 reply threads- The topic ‘Near Field Sphere Quantities’ is closed to new replies.
