ı cannot open step files in my ansys how can ı solve

  Hello everyone i have ansys 2020 r1 student version. I cannot open step files for static structural analysis. Can you help me? n

  nYes you can. Open Workbench, add a Static Structural analysis to the Project Schematic. Double click on the Geometry cell. SpaceClaim will open. In SpaceClaim, use File, Open but set the file type to STEP and browse to the STEP file to select. Once it reads in, close SpaceClaim (you don't have to save). Double click on Model. The geometry will be attached so you can assign materials, mesh, support, load and solve the model.n
