SubscribernBefore you buy a textbook, take the courses you can access for free at the top of this page. The Learning Tracks helps guide you on a good order to take the courses, since there are so many.nI also recommend the free edX.org course: https://www.edx.org/course/a-hands-on-introduction-to-engineering-simulationsn -

Forum ModeratorAlso consider that a text book typically takes a couple of years to produce so the software may have moved on: nothing wrong with text books just be aware of the publication date. Between the free materials that mentioned, your course notes (both for the background theory and simulation parts) and questions on here you'll get most of the basics. We (Ansys) also offer courses but you need to pay for them via your University on the https://www.ansys.com/services/learning-hub n -

SubscriberMany thanks to you, Rob and peteroznewman, for advising on leaning materials for both FLUENT and MECHANICAL, and as well as on the warning message in FLUENT vki LICENSE: “VKI license is not available. Corresponding TUI and GUI options for import and export will not be available.” nnCheers,nPatrick.n
