Ansys EmployeeIt may be due to a missing ACT extension. Was the project made on another computer or by another user?nDecember 1, 2020 at 7:15 pmLuigi0
SubscriberI made the analysis on my computer, but I'm connected to the server of my university. I download and install the piezo-mems extension.nDecember 4, 2020 at 10:18 amLuigi0
SubscriberI download the student version of Ansys, then I want to connect to the server of my university to use the academic research license on my pc. I specify the server machine in the ANSLIC_ADMIN Utility, but maybe I made some errors.nDecember 4, 2020 at 2:26 pmGary_S
Ansys EmployeeAre you able to ping the university license server? nDecember 4, 2020 at 2:30 pmLuigi0
SubscriberSorry, I don't know what you intend with ping the university license servernDecember 4, 2020 at 3:04 pmErKo
Ansys EmployeeAlso have in mind that the ACT extensions (MEMS) is not supported for the latest releases (say 2020 R2), so it will not work without issues most likely. The last supported release for this extension is 19.1 or 19.2.nnEriknDecember 4, 2020 at 4:05 pmGary_S
Ansys EmployeeI like the response that ekostson gave. If the rest of the Ansys products work properly, then the license server is not the problem, but rather an unsupported MEMS ACT extension at the later version. nDecember 4, 2020 at 4:35 pmLuigi0
SubscriberI have the release 2019 R3, and I download the extension's version Piezomems v19.3nDecember 4, 2020 at 4:57 pmGary_S
