SubscriberHello,nn I would like to know if the Maxwell program can simulate the operating mode of a single-phase electrical transformer. Can voltage waveforms be obtained in the transformer secondary? Can consumers be connected to the secondary of the transformer? Can the waveform be obtained for the secondary currents?. Thank you very much!n -

Ansys EmployeeHi, @andrein,nYes Maxwell can do that. You can add current/voltage sources and load for both primary and secondary side in the winding excitation setup window. And you can plot out input or induced current/voltage on both sides in result tab in the history tree. Here's a youtube video about 3-phase transformer simulation in Maxwell which would help with your single-phase transformer:nhttps://youtu.be/2O8y58XiDlU?list=PLNLmSKqKLg4erJWZTVtarp1CKY3drhpS6 nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUMfyaveACg&list=PLNLmSKqKLg4erJWZTVtarp1CKY3drhpS6&index=18 nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1nh5rOtvIg&list=PLNLmSKqKLg4erJWZTVtarp1CKY3drhpS6&index=19n -
