I?ve tried to configure the CAD in CAD management it fails. Is there a work around? nI see spaceclaim mentioned a lot but I don?t have that option.thanks for your help.n

November 13, 2020 at 4:37 pmpeteroznewmanSubscriberIt only works if you have the ANSYS license for SolidWorks CAD interface. It is a purchased option and doesn't come standard.nThe workaround is to do a File Save As Parasolid from SolidWorks.nOpen Workench and in a Geometry cell, start DesignModeler (assuming you have that license).nIn DesignModeler, use File, Import External Geometry File (or something like that) and choose the Parasolid file.n
