“nlplwk” represents the result of plastic work divided by volume. But when I export the result file, see fig. 1.

SubscriberThen, I try to transfer the worbench project to APDL. Two result items are confusing, which is plastic strian energy and plastic work, please see below.nHi, everyone As the question in title, "nl, plwk" and "send, plastic", what's the difference of this two results .If you could answer this question, it will be nice!/forum/discussion/21999/plastic-work-density-and-strain-ennergy-density
Also, I want to ask that If anyone have faced the situation, in which some specific result can't be extracted, showingThe requested element solution data is not available. The PRES command is ignored.' , and other result items can be read. I entered the order, outres, all, all.nBest wishes!nNovember 25, 2020 at 3:24 pmmrife
Ansys EmployeeHi - the nodal value will take into account the element volume apportioned to the node for all elements the node is attached to. If you prefer to work with element data then change the 'Display Option' to Element Mean. This will give you a single value per element. nTraditionally when doing the Darveaux fatigue calculation we would have used a post-processing commands object and used a ETABLE [element table] to gather send, plastic.nMike nViewing 2 reply threads- The topic ‘About the user defined result “nlplwk”’ is closed to new replies.
