SubscriberHi, I am the IT representative for the Concordia SAE team. Recently we have received a new Ansys license file and we have been having issues regarding Flexnet Licensing.
Before running installing the new license file, it was suggested that We get a new license server manager (2020 R2) instead of the one we had prior to the update (2018 R2). This is what I did and after installing the new license file this is what I was getting.

Ansys EmployeeYou started this post stating that you recently received a new license file, yet you are then saying you haven't received a replacement license? This license you have posted has been expired since 2018. The new license should have been issued on Oct 07 and provided to the ASC on the account. That license must be installed on the server. If the ASC doesn't have the license, please reach out to your ANSYS Account Manager to request a copy of the latest license.nnThanksnMattnNovember 5, 2020 at 12:02 amit_concordia

SubscriberHello Array Thank you for the reply, nSo as suggested I installed the new license file and as you can see in the image below, it looks like the Flexnet part of the license is not running because the port in the license is already being used: nViewing 12 reply threads- The topic ‘Flexnet Licensing is not functionning’ is closed to new replies.
