SubscriberHello, nWhen writing a User-Defined Function, you can call values like velocity from the cell being read. Is there a way to to call velocity gradients and volume fraction gradients in a multiphase flow UDF? nIn addition, can you similarly call interfacial area concentration into your UDF? nThanks for the help! nSincerely, nDannyn -

AdministratorHello,nPlease have a look at section 3.2.3.7 Gradient (G) and Reconstruction Gradient (RG) Vector Macros in the Fluent Customization manual (link below) for the information on gradients.nThere is no direct way of calling the area concentration. You might have to obtain the interfacial areas of individual phases (based on the volume fraction) as well as the fluid mixture cell volume. Using these values, you should be able to estimate the desired number. nI hope this helps.nThanks.nKarthiknn
