HellonI want to ask zero-thermal-strain reference temperature in CTE of engineering data and environemental temperature in Mechanical part , what's the difference and how should I set up that two temperature.nBest wishes!n

Array nIf you don' understand the difference between Secant CTE and Tangent CTE, you must read this well written presentation.nArrayIt explains that a zero thermal strain reference temperature is the temperature at which the secant CTE data is measured relative to. You don't set it up, it is part of the material property definition.nThe environmental temperature is simply the initial temperature of all the parts in the model that do not have an explicit temperature boundary condition applied.n
