SubscriberHi!
I'm running a static structural simulation with non-linear contacts, geometry and materials, and I want to try nonlinear adaptive region to see if that improves my convergence. However, the adaptive region is shown as deactivated for every step. I have turned on large deflections, I'm storing results at all time points, all contacts for the body are set to asymmetric augmented lagrange and the body is meshed with tet-elements, which should satisfy the limitations for the method. Still, there is a question mark next to the adaptive region in the tree and I get an error when trying to solve.

SubscriberThanks! Most of the available Ansys settings have drop down menus, so I never though of right clicking!nViewing 2 reply threads- The topic ‘Nonlinear adaptive region error’ is closed to new replies.
