SubscriberHello.
I m writing because i have problem with simulation.
It's good on solution for example in Total Deformation, but wheel loses contact when it's calculating life in fatigue tool, and it makes a strange motion.
The wheel moves due to remote displacement.
Do you know how i can correct it ?

Ansys EmployeeThe Mechanical Fatigue Tool (FT) cannot lose or gain contact. Contact is never considered in the fatigue calculations. The FT just uses previously calculated stress results. The contact status cannot change during the fatigue calculations. The observed behavior looks like a graphics issue, maybe even a graphics bug. You should open a Service Request with Ansys Technical Support and provide them your model. They can determine if the observed behavior is caused by your graphic settings or a graphics bug.nViewing 2 reply threads- The topic ‘Fatigue Tool – Contact Losing – Life’ is closed to new replies.
