Display problems for Ansys Electronics Desktop in Linux (CentOS 7)

Setup: installation of Ansys 2020 or 2019 on CentOS 7 server.

Use: Remote Desktop to connect to the server and open Ansys

Problem: Microsoft Remote Desktop 10 (latest version) has 16-bit or 32-bit color options. If using 16-bit, remote desktop session crashes when open Ansys. If using 32-bit, Ansys can open on remote desktop session, but shows transparent color and makes it impossible to see/use the tool.

The Microsoft Remote Desktop is not supported by ANSYS on Linux environment, see the list of supported remote display tools herenhttps://www.ansys.com/-/media/ansys/corporate/files/pdf/solutions/it-professionals/platform-support/remote-display-and-virtual-desktop-support-2020-r2.pdf?la=en&hash=3DFEC2C3DA61AFD9F8657FE97447A20C16580C72n
