SubscriberHello Everyone,
I was modelling a frame made up of beam element and solid element but every time I ran it i get the error below
 *** WARNING ***                        CP =      9.453  TIME= 12:11:38
 Pivoting has been activated for the Distributed Sparse Matrix Solver .Â
 The memory required may greatly exceed the predicted amount. In that Â
 event, use the DSPOPTION command to change the memory mode and/or     Â
 memory size used by the Distributed Sparse Matrix Solver.             Â
 curEqn= 16431 totEqn= 68892 Job CP sec=    13.062
Can anyone tell me what I have to do to get rid of this warning? It also says the memory has run out of space but I have a 16GB RAM but the required Memory is lower than my RAM. Can please tell me what is causing this?
The initial memory allocation (-m) has been exceeded.                 Â
 Supplemental memory allocations are being used.                      Â
 Local memory allocated for solver             =   724.636 MB
 Local memory required for in-core solution    =   501.999 MB
 Local memory required for out-of-core solution =   182.348 MB
 Total memory allocated for solver             =  4370.937 MB
 Total memory required for in-core solution    =  3025.299 MB
 Total memory required for out-of-core solution =   975.839 MB
My Model is as shown below
Thanks.

SubscriberIf you got a solution, you don't do anything. This is a warning not an error.nThis memory message is also very common and can be ignored.nSeptember 15, 2020 at 12:22 pmAbelBerhanemeskel
