I'm using the Mechanical Pre/post processor.nHow can I identify the number of DOF of the model? I looked every where but I couldn't find this information.nAnyway, can I get this the no. of DOF before solution? I need to know this number before solving to assign the suitable number of cores, or move to another powerful machine.nnThanks in advance.n

you can start to solve on any machine and see it in the solver output file as number of equations will be listed immediately after mass summary:nYou can also approximately estimate the number by multiplying the solid elements node by 3 and shell element nodes by 6.
