SubscriberI'm using the Mechanical Pre/post processor.nHow can I identify the number of DOF of the model? I looked every where but I couldn't find this information.nAnyway, can I get this the no. of DOF before solution? I need to know this number before solving to assign the suitable number of cores, or move to another powerful machine.nnThanks in advance.n -

Forum Moderatoryou can start to solve on any machine and see it in the solver output file as number of equations will be listed immediately after mass summary:nYou can also approximately estimate the number by multiplying the solid elements node by 3 and shell element nodes by 6. Which are available in the mesh stats.n-AniketnHow to access Ansys help linksnGuidelines for Posting on Ansys Learning Forumn
