SubscriberI have several coils that are axial, but then are revolved around a new degree plane, and then remain axial again.
The issue I'm having is some lines have been generated which are causing all kinds of issues with being able to mesh in Abaqus (Generally have no issues doing hex, but these lines are interrupting the entire sweep).
Is there anyway I'm not aware of on how to get rid of these?

Forum ModeratorNot sure why you'd want to use Abaqus?!? I'd look at virtual topology in Ansys Meshing and Mechanical and/or use the surface clean up tools in SpaceClaim. nAugust 5, 2020 at 11:01 amKeyur Kanade
Ansys EmployeeAnsys Meshing can easily mesh such geometries. Please go through meshing tutorials and help manual. nRegards,nKeyurViewing 2 reply threads- The topic ‘How do I remove lines that are affecting my meshing abilities?’ is closed to new replies.
