Can I import named selections while importing STEP or Parasolid file?

STEP and Parasolid are neutral file formats that can be read by virtually all CAD readers. The way a named selection is written is unique to the CAD tool, and thus cannot be transferred to a neutral format like .stp or .x_t.  The way forward is to create the named selections directly in the downstream tool.

How can I get NS from CAD to SpaceClaim?

SpaceClaim can import various native CAD files. If native CAD file has any NS, then SpaceClaim can read it provided you import native file directly in SpaceClaim.

Can I import CAD parameters in the same way?

No, you can not import CAD parameters in SpaceClaim. Please create geometry parameters in SpaceClaim using different tools. Please see help manual for the same.
