SubscriberHi Guys,
Â
I have an unusual issue while Preparing the volume extract. I choose the option to select edges and select the seed face. This gives me the cone shape domain within the extracted domain. It also a bit weird that during the post-processing that part of the cone is not under the simulation. Any suggestion will be really helpful.Â

Ansys EmployeeI suspect that the edge you selected is non-planar, perhaps you could show the part(s) you are extracting from, initially?

AdministratorCould you please check if you are able to unite the two objects into one single object? If you are unable to, then this is where is issue lies. Could you please check this?
Thanks.

Ansys EmployeeThe edge must be non planar. There are several ways to make this workÂ
You can split the body and then fill that cone. Then use pull command.Â
Please check videos on SpaceClaim on youtube.Â
