I doing simulation of capillar rise in a single 2D-tube. We are considering only a single 2D-tube in order to save the computational resources. The geometery is given, where a pressure inlet, and outlet conditions are employed at bottm and top respectively. Further, we employed symmetery on left side and wall conditions on the right side.Â
With the pressure inlet at bottom, I specified water volume fraction as 1. However, as the liquid is sucked this conditions fails and as a result we these results. I just have a question could put some kind of infinite conditions at bottom, so that as the liquid get sucked it by default provide it. I really appreicate the help.Â

Channel PartnerHave a look at 2d axi-symmetric as opposed to just using 2d. Read the mesh requirements.Â
For the inlet you're looking for a pressure boundary, and then need to carefully set the operating density to then be able to set the outlet pressure.Â
