SubscriberHi. I have created an axial (hydro) turbine in BladeGen for a CFD analysis. In the analysis, am studying the impact of changing the blade pitch angle/stagger on power output at a fixed flow rate. My issues are two: the first one is that how do I actually calculate the initial required theta angle (wrap angle) if all i have are the 4 velocity triangle angles at inlet and outlet at a mean radius? Second, is that when I want to vary the pitch angle, how do I do that as there seems to be no slot for a stagger angle in BladeGen or how can I re-orient the blade to mimic a different pitch angle but yet keep the blade profile/camberline the same as for the reference/first designed blade? I am using the angle/thickness mode as I don't understand what most of the angles are in the pressure/suction mode uin the initial dialog boxÂ
