SubscriberHello,
Â
I am trying to simulate cylindrical shell, and in comparison with analytical calculations based on Kirchoff-Love theory relative error is about 4% in the first 8 modes.
Â
I have checked that the order of the modes is ok (first natural frequency is for n=4 and m=1 and so on). I have tried elements SHELL181 and SHELL281 and the results are nearly identical.
I would be very grateful if one can suggest me what I can do to get more consistent results?
Â
I am attaching wbpz file and my analytical calculations.
