How to export complete residual history data to text from saved case/data file?

  I have Fluent case and data file. I want to get residual history i.e right from 0 to x iterations it will display x,y,z velocity residual values right. It is not showing when I open case and data file once again. How to get that back in form of excel or whatever. I am able to plot residual once again but cannot get back values in console window. Please help me how to do that?
  
  I have tried using /plot/residuals-set/plot-to-file, and it asked filename, when I enter filename, no response after that, and no file is also created. Help me how to get that back?

  They'll be retained in the transcript file, .trn but otherwise why do you need them? Note, Fluent does not retain much data from previous sessions and the data file holds the "now" flow values; most monitors etc will have 1000 data points but I'd be wary of that data until I'd run a few iterations/time steps.
