SubscriberHello
I am simulating Cooling fan module which is placed in a rectangular pipe, I have a problem with convergence, I ran 5000 iterations but still, the solution isn't convergence, any suggestion to solve this IssueÂ

AdministratorHello,
Can you create a monitor (say avg. velocity at the outlet or avg. velocity at the inlet) and see if you are reaching a steady solution?
Also, please take a look at your mass flux reports. Is the net value small compared to the mass flux crossing the inlet / outlet boundaries?
Thanks.

Subscriberhi kremella, thank you for reply ,Â
will check them,Â
I have a question regarding setup, instead of creating many solid-fluid interfaces, I just made boolean operation and removed stator(solid) or shroud from the enclosure. so do you think it might affect convergence?

Forum ModeratorShouldn't make much difference other than to the solve speed. Put the monitors in as Karthik suggests as I suspect you've got some transients in the flow.Â
