Hi I am using Ansys Student 2020 R1. I have a problem about seeing review of my anlyze. After I clicking the report preview, Ansys suddenly close and nothing happened. I have reset my computer, update Windows 10, reinstalled Windows 10, update my whole driver ,and still same problem. I am using MSI GS65 Stealth. My friend has also same laptop and same issue about Ansys. My computer features:

      GeForce GTX 1660 Ti

      Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H Cpu @   2.60 Hz

      System Memory: 16 GB DDR4

      Video Memory: 6GB DDR6

In a similar case where both Print Preview and Report preview cause a crash...This Nahimic program/driver causes problem with software rendering in Ansys. Perhaps you have a similar driver installed.

Disabled some RealTek audio drivers that were installed by default during the ASUS board device driver installations as part of the machine setup. These drivers used Nahimic services. The software no longer crashes on Print Preview or Report Preview.

      Hi,

I am using ANSYS 19.2 and i have the same error. Disabling those drivers did not work for me.

Is there anything else i could try?

The issue described above is very specific to Microsoft's software rendering for these CPUs, which will be invoked ONLY when we do a print preview, report preview, or an image export with higher resolutions.

Moreover, if "Image to file" works for 1:1, but fails for 2:1 or 4:1, then the problem is related to this software rendering.

In this issue, it was an audio preprocessor/equalizer software called Nahimic. It is quite possible that other such programs may cause same issue.

We also occasionally have issues with screen capture / image snipping programs. If you have any installed, you might try to disable them.
