      Is a quadratic 3 noded bar element available in LS-DYNA?

      Hi

      Perhaps this is of relevance - LS-DYNA does provide a special 3‑node quadratic beam elbow element for piping via the ELBOW option on *ELEMENT_BEAM (together with WARPAGE) – see keyword manual I. This element uses quadratic interpolation and additional degrees of freedom to capture elbow behavior such as ovalization, and is intended specifically for curved piping/elbow applications, not as a general straight 3‑node quadratic bar/beam element.
