I am not able to apply the heat flux

      Hello

I am not able to apply the heat flux on the edge inside the geometry. In order to get a continuous mesh through different layers, I made all layer in one part.

Is this a 2D or 3D simulation run? Did you pick the analysis type in WB as 2D or 3D?

If this is 3D, you will only be able to select surfaces and prescribe the heat flux condition. Could you please check if you are able to pick a surface (and not an edge) for your boundary condition?

      Thanks.

this is a 2D analysis. I am still not able to apply the heat flux to the edges inside the geometry.

You can only add a heat flux to an external wall boundary. For an internal wall you need to give it a thickness and then add a heat generation rate in W/m3

thanks for your help, I tried to apply the heat generation but still not working

Oops, thought you were using Fluent.

If you click into the Geometry yellow box what can you select on the screen?
