After attempting to install student 2019 r3 and following the process of downloading, unzipping, then running the set up as an administrator I was given the following:

Then after a while of leaving it idle, it tells me that instcore.exe is not working. This last attempt would be my 7th time uninstalling everything ANSYS related and my 8th time installing it. I would appreciate anyones help in this matter.

Make sure all ANSYS related processes are not running.nThen, open CMD Prompt and enter the following commandnmove %appdata%\ansys %appdata%\ansys.oldnNow, go to the installation package folder -> Prerequisites, and manually run all the installers here one-by-one. Make sure they are all successful. You can skip the opencl and MPI related ones. You may need to reboot after this.n
