The error "Error starting SpaceClaim – Parasolid modeler" after rebooting is often related to installation conflicts or corrupted configuration files.
Clean out all remaining user config folders again, especially AppData Roaming and Local, and let SpaceClaim rebuild them fresh. Check if any old version folders are still present and remove or rename them.
Verify there are no conflicts from mixed or partial installs by doing a completely clean uninstall of Ansys products and reinstalling only the required version.
Run SpaceClaim as admin and temporarily disable antivirus or security tools to rule out blocking.
